Lion of Bengal A.K Fazlul Haq

He was born in the Village called Chakher in Bakerganj in 1873. He passed his Entrance Examination from Barisal Zilla school in 1889. winning a Divisional Scholarship. He went to Calcutta for higher education in 1893. He passed his B. A. Examination with honors in physics. Chemistry and mathematics from the presidency college. In 1895,

he obtained his M. A in Mathematics and was appointed an examiner in Mathematics for the M. A. Examination of Kolkata university the next year. He obtained his degree in law with distinction in 1897. In 1900 he began his independent legal practice at Kolkata High court. For a few months in 1903, he worked as a professor of Mathematics at Rajendra college, Barisal, Bangladesh.
He died on 27 April in 1962.
